About cookies
What is a cookie and why do we use them?
What is a cookie? A cookie is a short text file that is stored by the computer when a web site is visited by a user. The text stores information that the site can read when it is consulted later. Some of these cookies are required for the site to work properly, others are useful to the visitor because they can safely store certain data, such as the user name or language settings. The advantage of having cookies installed is that you no longer need to fill out the same information whenever you want to access a previously visited site.
As a result of changes to Privacy resulting from the Electronic Communications Directive, the use of cookies to collect your data is only permitted with the consent. The changes made are intended to make it easier to come to know and control what information the sites keep on you.
For more information please refer to our Privacy Policy.
